Work Experience – Ship’s Catering

We offer catering work experience placements on board our vessels. The placements last for two weeks and include first-hand experience of every aspect of the ship’s catering department. Electrical/Electronic Technician (Inverness)

Travelling to any of the lighthouses within the NLB estate, you will work as part of a team carrying out maintenance, repair and installation work on aids to navigation and associated equipment.

Able Seafarer Deck

As Able Seafarer Deck, reporting to the Bosun, you will carry out operational and ship husbandry tasks essential to the running of an NLB Vessel.

As Second Engineer you are responsible for the planning and implementation of day to day activities in the Engine room and assisting the Chief Engineer with the safe, effective and efficient operation of all technical systems.
