Situated on the remote and beautiful northern shore of North Ronaldsay, the former Lighthouse Keepers’ Cottages offer visitors year-round, self-catering accommodation. The North Ronaldsay Trust led a ten-year refurbishment project following the decommissioning of the cottages and the automation of the Lighthouse. During the restoration of the cottages, meticulous attention was paid to preserving the historical character of these buildings. The 4-star, self-catering accommodation at the Lighthouse is one of only four such buildings in all of Scotland and the only one that is located on an Island. Find out more.
