The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) has been shortlisted for Company of the Year at the National Sustainability Awards, due to take place in London on Thursday 5 October.
Jim McBrier, NLB’s Risk and Improvement Manager said:
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for Company of the Year at the National Sustainability Awards. For over 230 years the Northern Lighthouse Board has been on the frontline of keeping seafarers and the environment safe from harm.
“Making it to the shortlist is testament to the dedication and hard work of the NLB team who have willingly taken on the challenge, presented by the Climate Emergency, as a personal responsibility. Everyone is committed to ensuring NLB operates in the most sustainable way practicable to minimise our impact on the environment.”
