Chief Executive

The Chief Executive’s Department is based in Edinburgh and includes Human Resources, Quality Health & Safety and Environmental (QHSE), the Secretary to the Board and Public Relations.
 
The HR team deals with recruitment, training & development and all employment related issues. The QHSE team deals with all matters relating to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, including accreditation to recognised quality management systems.

The Secretary to the Board acts as Minute Secretary to the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses and the various sub groups. The Information Officer produces internal and external publications, deals with all press & media related issues and is responsible for the content of the Board’s website.
