With reference to NOTICE TO MARINERS NO 5 OF 2009 (DATED 16 JANUARY 2009), notice is given that, on or about 15 JUNE 2009, the UNLIT BEACON at this position will be PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED. The metal pile structure will be removed

Mariners are further advised that, commencing on this date, the remains of perches at the following locations will be removed from the seabed:

(i)         NF1  (57° 41.620’ North  007° 04.560’ West)

(ii)        L1  (57° 42.606’ North  007° 03.204’ West)

(iii)       NW RODEL ROCKS (57° 43.180’ North  007° 02.015’ West)

(iv)       GROCIS SGEIR  (57° 44.188’ North  007° 01.652’ West)

(v)        NF5  (57° 41.555’ North  007° 07.580’ West)

A further notice will be issued when these works are rescheduled.
