ESTABLISHMENT OF TEMPORARY LIGHT AND CHANGE OF APPEARANCE

Notice is given that on or about 16 APRIL 2008, the existing light will be withdrawn and a temporary light will be established with the under noted characteristics:

Location:  

On Dome of Tower

Character : Group Flash (3) White, Red every 15 seconds (as before)
Elevation: 47 metres
Nominal Ranges : Green
Sectors :

White Sector   180°– 075° (255°) (as before)
Red Sector      075° - 180° (105°) (as before)

                                               

Mariners are also advised that, on or about 16 APRIL 2008, the White Tower will be partly obscured by scaffolding and white sheeting and will appear less defined pending completion of essential Engineering Operations.

Further Notices to Mariners will be issued prior to the re-establishment of a Permanent Light of the previous character and when the appearance of the Lighthouse Tower is restored.
