Mariners are hereby advised that, notwithstanding the establishment of a buoy station at this position, notice is drawn to the following note on Chart BA 2642: Vessels using Cope Passage should exercise extreme caution and not attempt passage in adverse weather conditions. The bar between Berneray and Killegray (57° 44.5'N, 7° 09.0' W) consists of shifting sand, is generally marked by overfalls, breaks in heavy weather and is reported to dry occasionally.
