Mull of Galloway Lighthouse

Situated on the most southerly tip of the Scottish mainland the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse sits in the middle of a Nature Reserve. Through a partnership with the South Rhins Community Development Trust the Lighthouse is open for tours on weekends during the summer season. Mull of Galloway Leaflet

North Ronaldsay Lighthouse

This is the most northerly island in Orkney. The original beacon on North Ronaldsay was the third lighthouse built in Scotland by the Northern Lighthouse Board in 1789. In 1854 a new lighthouse was design and built by Alan Stevenson. Through a partnership with the North Ronaldsay Trust tours of the new lighthouse are available through the summer season. Start Point Lighthouse

Start Point lighthouse is unique with its black & white stripes, situated on the tidal island of Start Point on Sanday’s exposed eastern tip. With the kind assistance of the Sanday Ranger a limited number of tours are organised to the light. Start Point Leaflet
